FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to wind power engineering and can be used to transform wind energy into electrical power. Proposed windmill comprises two rotors with vertical shafts running in housing furnished with wind-vane guide device secured on rotary platform. Said housing features streamlined drop-like shape constricted by flat elements, from top and bottom. Note here that rotor S-like air intake blades extend beyond housing limits equally on its both sides. Flanged slots are made in flat elements, ahead of rotor shafts.
EFFECT: higher aerodynamic efficiency.
