FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to gear pumps with hydraulic compensation of end face clearances. Proposed pump comprises housing 1 with end face cover 2. Housing has cylindrical bores to accommodate gears 3, 4 for external gearing with journals running in moving 5, 6 and fixed 7,8 bearings. The pump has working fluid feed and discharge channels and hydraulic compensation device with clamping chambers 11 arranged in end face cover 2 and communicated with working fluid feed channels 12, 13 made in moving bearings 5, 6. Said channels 12, 13 communicate with pressure chamber. Aforesaid clamping chambers 11 accommodate fluoroplastic cups to house flexible O-rings communicated with aforesaid feed channels to force moving bearings 5, 6 against working faces of gears.
EFFECT: reduced weight and sizes thanks to simplified design.
