FIELD: heating.
SUBSTANCE: invention is meant for being used as the device for profiling the liquid flow velocity field when installed at inlet chamber of heat exchanger. Device consists of diffuser including a set of diffusers located and fixed inside it coaxially with radial gap relative to each other. Edges of diffusers at inlet and outlet are attached to each other with radial inserts. Inserts installed at diffuser outlet are rigidly attached to external diffuser. Inserts are installed at the inlet so that they can be moved along internal surface of diffuser and pipeline.
EFFECT: improving operating reliability at temperature elongations and improving straightening of velocity field of liquid metal heat carrier flow.
