FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to machine building and is designed for implementing it at process equipment for exhaust of fire gases into atmosphere, and also for protection of reservoirs with oil products from outside penetration of flame. The valve with the fire-resistor consists of a case. The fire-resister of a cassette type and a breathing valve are arranged in the case. The case is made of two parts. A lower part of the case is made in form of a bearing flange with a truncated cone. An upper part also consists of two elements: a lower one in form of a truncated cone facing the fire-resistor, and an upper one of a cylinder shape wherein the breathing valve is located. The breathing valve consists of a pressure plate travelling in guides, and of a vacuum plate connected to the pressure plate by means of the telescopic guide. There is a cover for maintenance of the valve in the upper part of the case. The valve is connected with an air duct through the protecting net. The fire-resistor of the cassette type is made out of corrugated and flat metal bands tightly rolled into a reel so, that vertical narrow channels are formed in it. Combustible mixture freely flows via these channels. A corrugation can be triangle, rectangular, square, trapezoid, sinusoidal and formed with arcs of circumferences.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of fire extinguishing.
