FIELD: physics, radio.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radio engineering, specifically to devices for reading information from objects at high temperature. The high-temperature coaxial cable connector consists of two units for connecting to an external microwave energy source having a housing inside of which there is an outer conductor in form of a collet sleeve, an inner conductor in form of a socket and cable connection unit. Between the units there is an intermediate coaxial unit consisting of two rings connected diametrically by at least two spokes, on the axis of which there is an air-dielectric coaxial line consisting of an outer conductor in form of a thin-wall tube with circular holes whose diametre ranges from 0.001 to 0.01 of the operating wavelength. The holes are in circle along the generatrix and the inner conductor with diametre of 0.7-1.0 mm. All elements of the intermediate coaxial unit are made from a metal with thermal-conductivity coefficient not greater than 15.5 W/m°C.
EFFECT: possibility of reducing temperature in the cable connection unit and maintaining its working capacity at high temperature on the device connection unit.
