FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, specifically to surgery. Prediction of lethal outcome in the patients with abdominal sepsis is ensured by evaluating the pre-, intra- and postoperative clinical and laboratory research data. Additionally, it involves considering the relative lymphocyte count (%), CD4+/CD8+ ratio (IRI), interleukine-1 receptor antagonist level (IL-1 RA), and also the intraoperative research data and a psychological status of the patient. Probability of lethal outcome is predicted within 10 to 90% with duration of staying in hospital 1-120.
EFFECT: method allows predicting lethal outcome in the patients with abdominal sepsis.
