FIELD: process engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to nonchemical water purification of insoluble solid particles and can be used in various industrial branches. Proposed device comprises housing representing closed chute with round or parabolic bottom and inclined at 20-35° to horizontal plane. Housing flat top surface arranged on the device top receives wastes feed pipeline while housing bottom part has purified water discharge pipeline. Thin-layer shutter-type clarifiers are arranged inside said housing with plates inclined at 40-45° to housing top surface. Intake bin is coupled with the device housing bottom and features inclination of sides varying from 50° to 55° and discharge hatch. Two branches of slurry wash-off pipeline connected with feed pipeline are connected to intake bin at the level of 1/3 of its height, along tangential line from the hatch and on opposite sides.

EFFECT: higher efficiency and reliability.
