SUBSTANCE: proposed device comprises a partition representing overlapping parallel plates arranged at the angle of 40 to 55° to a horizontal plane, the plates upper edges being inclined towards the flow. Every next plate is spaced apart from the previous one by the distance equal to 0.8 to 1.0 of the plate width. The previous plate lower edge is overlapped by the nest plate upper edge by the value equal to 0.1 to 0.2 of the plate width.
EFFECT: changing suspended particle travel direction into descending one and increasing sedimentation efficiency.
