FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to cavitation processing of materials and can be used for grinding mineral stock, produce finely-dispersed paints and enamels, thinning out oils, high-molecular hydrocarbons and producing various metals and alloys incompatible in natural conditions. Proposed method comprises generating alternating contracting and expanding strains in fluid medium by low-frequency oscillations with low-frequency-to-amplitude ratio varying from 5 to 1000. Said oscillations are generated by activator representing a barrel with H-to-OD ratio of 1.4-3.0, arranged in reactor inner chamber with its bottom up. Note here that rector ID-to-activator OD ratio makes 1.0001-1.02, while that of activator inner chamber to reactor inner volume makes 0.3-0.6.
EFFECT: simplified and safe method that features reduced power consumption.
