FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metal processing and can be used for dressing cylindrical outer surfaces. Part is revolved and two tools are fed along different radii to be penetrated into processed part at different forces. Said tools are mounted at 30°-40° to penetration direction. One of said tools penetrates into processed surface in direction perpendicular to part revolution axis. Second tool is arranged displaced relative to said axis and first tool in direction of lengthwise feed to overlap traces of tools penetration in processing.
EFFECT: higher efficiency .
