FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: brake consists of autonomous independent pneumatically controlled split parts, each containing rubber-cord containers with brake shoes coated with friction patch pieces secured on rim and stop spring loaded pin installed on frame. Split parts are joined in pairs with rocker arms (levers) between which a spring is arranged. Rocker arms are pivotally secured on the rim and are located between the rubber-cord container and brake shoes.
EFFECT: improved technical characteristics of brake of draw works and increased service life of its operation due to accelerated friction patch pieces splitting from brake pulley at lowering drilling tool into well.
