FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: ribbon-block brake with "heat bridges" in pulley rim contains heat removal assemblies to reduce temperature gradients, located in the rim of the assembled brake pulley and brake ribbon with friction pads. The assemblies with "heat bridges" are made in form of system of thin heat conducting radial cylindrical rings going through the full thickness of the pulley rim. Between the assemblies there are energy-intensive cylindrical rings with different diameters, that comprise the pulley rim, and are separated by cylindrical heat insulating rings.
EFFECT: increased heat resistance of friction pairs of ribbon-block brake, and increased durability of friction pairs of ribbon-block brake due to reduced temperature gradients in their elements by direct conducted cooling using the heat bridges in the pulley rim.
