FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: draw plate feeder is used for production of continuous basalt fibre of high strength with diametre of fibres from 6 to 18 mcm under mode of round the clock basalt melting processing. The draw plate feeder consists of an upper case, of a filling slit in the upper case, of a lower case, of a filter, of a drain bushing, of a flange, of current ducts, of vertical ribs with an internal profiled channel. The internal channel is made as a chord, height of which at the middle of the channel is p=0.24-0.26 of half of sum of radii of holes at inlet and outlet of draw plates channel. The shape of the draw plates channel facilitates equalising rates of melt basalt flow along section of the draw plate channel, and also uniform distribution of melt temperature by height of the draw plate channel.

EFFECT: elimination of drop-shaped surfaces of drawing on edges of outlet holes considerably deteriorating quality of produced continuous fibre.
