FIELD: oil and gas industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to thermal processing high molecular carbon containing raw material, including heavy oil containing fractions, resins of coal processing, processing of slate coal and wood into more light compounds implementing physical methods of effect. The method of thermal processing of high molecular carbon containing raw material into more light compounds consists in effecting zone of chemical transformation with alternate microwave electromagnetic field; also fine dispersed solid substance is supplied into said zone; solid substance absorbs microwave radiation; notably raw material in zone of chemical transformation is present in form of liquid boiling fraction which forms chaotic motion of particles of fine dispersed solid substance, while vapour phase of chemical transformation products passes through liquid high molecular carbon containing raw material to successive separation into fractions of useful products.

EFFECT: increased efficiency of electro-magnetic power utilisation and increased ecological safety of process of thermal processing of high molecular carbon containing raw material into more light compounds.
