FIELD: food industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to composition to facilitate nutrition support of patients suffering from obesity. The composition has energy value from 0.4 to 0.9 kcal/ml and contains a source of protein, vitamin A, vitamin C, vitamin E, zinc and selenium. Also the source of protein contains at least 30 wt % of lacto-serum protein and provides at least 30% of all calories of the composition. The composition can be used for production of the composition of nutrition support for preventing or treatment of insufficiency of nutrition of patients before, during or after hospitalisation for operation, illness therapy or other states, for example, development of metabolic syndrome and diabetes of II type, and also in a period of recovery.
EFFECT: production of composition with synergetic effect.
