FIELD: food industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to production of biologically active additives (BAA) out of cocoon of silkworm. The procedure for production of sericin and fibroin of silk consists in hydrolysis of shells of silkworm cocoons at temperature 103-105°C during 2.5-3.0 hours with water solution of 2.6-2.8% of potassium hydroxide at weight ratio to hydrolysed raw material 6:1. Further produced hydrolysate is neutralised, filtered and micro-filtered through a membrane filter with dimension of pores 0.10 mcm for production of sericin with sugar-lowering effect and molecular weight 5000-6000. Sediment on the filter is washed with diluted sulphuric acid and distilled water to obtain fibroin of cardio-tropic effect with molecular weight 140000-150000.
EFFECT: facilitating simultaneous production of two end products of upgraded biological activity.
