FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for studying biological samples by scanning probe nanotomography (SPNT). Essence of the invention consists in the fact that thepod for the biological sample is a film with thickness of 1-100 mcm, which contains 5-100% of silkworm Bombyx mori silk fibroin by weight. Disclosed also is a method of producing said substrate, in which to obtain a film aqueous solution of silk fibroin of silkworm Bombyx mori is lyophilized. Thereafter, dry lyophilised silk fibroin is dissolved in formic acid to concentration of 1-100 mg / ml of the solution. Obtained solution is applied on the surface for drying, and after complete drying of the solution, silk fibroin film is separated from the surface for drying.

EFFECT: enabling production of a universal, transparent, mechanically strong biocompatible substrate for analyzing a biological sample by SPNT.
