FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ophthalmosurgery. An intraocular lens (IOL) comprises optical and reference elements. A front surface of the optical element represents a segment of a spherical surface, while a back surface thereof represents curvilinear surfaces concave relative to the front surface with a continuous curvature with the same central optical axis. A central surface of the back surface is a segment of a concave parabolic surface, and the relation of its diametre to the diametre of the optical element is within 0.2 to 0.3. The second piece of the back surface is a segment of a third-order concave surface generated by rotation about the central optical axis of a curve matched with third-order Chebyshev polynomial, and the relation of its diametre to the diametre of the optical element is in the range 0.3 to 0.5. The peripheral piece of the back surface of the optical element represents a segment of a forth-order concave surface generated by rotation about the central optical axis of a curve matched with Lagrange polynomial, and the relation of the diametre of this surface to the diametre of the optical element is in the range 0.3 to 0.5.
EFFECT: application of said IOL enables to improve acuity of daylight and night vision to an intact-eye level.
