FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to field of ophthalmic surgery. Artificial intraocular lens (AEL) contains optic and support elements. Anterior surface of optic element is flat and is provided with elements of toric surface, and posterior surface of optic element is made in form of segments of elliptical, hyperbolic and parabolic surfaces. In the centre of posterior surface located is first segment of hyperbolic surface, ratio of diameter of said hyperbolic to diameter of optic part lies in the interval from 0.1 to 0.3. Second part of posterior surface is made in form of segment of elliptical surface, ratio of diameter of elliptical surface segment to diameter of optic element lies in the interval from 0.1 to 0.3. Third part of posterior surface is made in form of segment of second hyperbolic surface, ratio of diameter of hyperbolic surface segment to diameter of optic element lies in the interval from 0.2 to 0.4. Peripheral part of posterior surface is made in form of segment of parabolic surface, ratio of diameter of said surface to diameter of optic element lies in the interval from 0.2 to 0.4. Elements of toric surface are made in form of two segments, diametrically opposite with respect to symmetry axis, passing through the centre of optic part, and centrally symmetric with respect to optic surface centre. Angular measurement of segments lies within the interval from 30 to 120 degrees. Frontal section of each of the segments represents semicircle. Optic part of each of toric segments is provided with diametrically located markers, oriented along longitudinal axis of symmetry, passing through the centre of anterior surface of optic part, external butt end surface of support element being made in form of ellipsis.
EFFECT: application of the invention will make it possible to increase acuity of photopic and scotopic vision to the level of intact eye with simultaneous reduction of astigmatism.
