FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of construction, in particular to manufacturing of ceramic tiles or panels. Installation for moulding of ceramic tiles or panels comprises conveyor belt, on which continuous strip of powdery ceramic material is placed, devices for arrangement of seals that make it possible to expose strip of powders placed on belt to continuous pressing with production of an integral item from powders that have been compacted, and accessories that make it possible to hold material on belt at both sides. Specified accessories comprises at least a pair of elastically deformable parallel retaining walls, at the same time powdery material is arranged between walls before pressing starts, in process of pressing and on its completion. Retaining walls comprises sides that face each other and are inclined versus plane of conveyor belt location, so that on completion of pressing they do not touch the item of compacted powders and do not affect the item so that it could be damaged.
EFFECT: prevention of cracks and/or fractures at longitudinal edges of item, and also minimising wastes.
