FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to the field of construction elements making. Method for forming of ceramic tiles or panels, in which the following stages are performed: continuous layer of powder is placed onto conveyor belt, belt is moved through block of continuous action to do the first pressing, comprising accessories to hold powder at sides, so that in process of belt motion powder is pressed, and a solid product is produced from powder that has been previously compacted. At the same time in method there are devices used to do compaction, distance between which may be varied depending on thickness of powder layer intended for compaction. Zone of pressing covers significant part of belt, thickness of tile that consists of compacted material is measured on completion of pressing, and thickness of continuous layer of powder on belt is adjusted prior to its pressing. Installation for forming of ceramic tiles or panels comprises conveyor belt, where continuous layer of powdery material is placed, and accessories of continuous action for pressing, which make it possible to do pressing of powder layer placed on belt to produce solid item from previously compacted powder. At the same time installation comprises accessories for measurement of layer thickness on completion of pressing, joined to accessories for adjustment of powder amount forming the layer.
