FIELD: radio engineering.
SUBSTANCE: friend-or-foe identification method does not require use of narrow-beam antennae for transmission of demand signals, consists in the fact that the objects integrated in a local information management system transmit the data on their own coordinates together with their personal ID number in the coded form in response to reception of coded demand signal to which the interrogator adds the data on the coordinates of the point which is supposed to be attacked; at that, the objects which have received the demand signal compare the data on the coordinates of the point which is supposed to be attacked to their own coordinates, and signal response is transmitted in case their own coordinates coincide with coordinates of the point which is supposed to be attacked with pre-set error.
EFFECT: improvement of reliability and prevention of attack and decrease of communication system traffic.
