SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the creation of means for identifying air objects. The essence of the invention is that the value of the final identification feature of a detected air object is determined as a result of adjusting the value of the first private identification feature generated by the radar interrogator using selection of false pulses by power level in relation to the synchronization pulse, the value of the second private identification feature determined by comparing spatial coordinates of the detected air object with the spatial coordinates of the requested air objects, transmitted in special information parcels over the radio channel if the code of the received request signal matches the current code, and the adjustment is carried out in such a way that the value of the final identification feature of the detected air object, which is that it is not equipped with a radar transponder, is determined if the values of both the first and second private identification characteristics correspond to this decision. This makes it possible to eliminate errors in the identification of individual air objects that arise as a result of changes in the power level of response signal pulses under the influence of destabilizing factors and, as a consequence, leads to an increase in the reliability of the identification of air objects as a whole.

EFFECT: increasing the reliability of identification of air objects.
