FIELD: surveillance.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods and systems for identifying various types of "friend-or-foe" type targets, namely, identifying small-sized robotic means. The method for identifying small-sized robotic means consists in the fact that radio location identification is conducted, coordinate-connected identification is conducted simultaneously using cloud computation technology and probabilistic or fuzzy inference algorithms, a fuzzy decision is made on the object being attributed to one of the classes - "friend" or "foe" - by multidimensional optimisation of the target function of the identification system in the space of fuzzy parameter sets. The system for identifying small-sized robotic means comprises a radio location identification subsystem and a coordinate-connected identification subsystem including an information system operating using cloud computation technology and at least one user terminal, coupled with the data processor.
EFFECT: increase in the accuracy of identification and the operating stability of the identification system in conditions of destructive impact.
