FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to instrumentation technology and can be used for measuring and recording girth of chicken body. The facility consists of electronic tape measure-controller. Cloth of the tape measure-controller is connected with one end of an elastic band. The band is arranged on guiding rollers and a guiding pole, the second end of which is secured on a fixing pole rigidly fixed on the first bracket. The tape measure-controller is movably secured to the first bracket. The first bracket is movably connected with the second bracket also movably tied with coupled between them handles. Between the handles there is installed a spring setting and fixing handles in an extreme separated position.

EFFECT: upgraded accuracy of measuring, increased efficiency of operator and increased convenience of operation at assessment of chicken exterior during selection.
