INTRAUTERINE TELEDIAGNOSIS SYSTEM Russian patent published in 2010 - IPC A61B5/02

Abstract RU 2386389 C2

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention concerns medicine, namely medical equipment used in obstetrics and perinatology and can be used for intrauterine foetal assessment. An intrauterine telediagnosis system comprises sensing elements that can sense tissue response and transfer it on a controller accommodating a processor for processing tissue response and comparing the results, and a data display unit; herewith the sensing elements represent touch sensors each of which consists of at least one elastic chamber filled with a pressoreceptive medium, connected to the appropriate pressure sensor; the elastic chambers are included in an elastic band fixed on a surface of the patient's anterior abdominal wall to form sensitive regions on the body; the processor is designed for real-time recording of force applied to each chamber from the sensitive region and imaging the force distribution between the elastic chambers on the data display unit; an ultrasonic foetal heartbeat Doppler transducer is connected to the controller.

EFFECT: device ensures enhanced assessment of foetal health and efficient data presentation on the condition of the pregnant woman and a foetus to a visiting medical doctor.
