SUBSTANCE: invention concerns medicine, namely therapy and cardiology. It involves 24-hour AP monitoring. Pulse pressure (PP) profile is described; there are explored normo- and hypertension episodes wherein average PP and SAP values are determined. There are evaluated the ratios of average PP values to average SAP values in normo- and hypertension episodes, and the difference of these values. The original formulae including calculated parametres are used to evaluate coefficients to diagnose isolated systolic arterial hypertension.

EFFECT: method allows for noninvasive and precise differential diagnostics of isolated arterial hypertension.
