FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, in particular to cardiology, therapy, general practice, neurology. During a medical appointment, a prophylactic or follow-up examination of a patient with a level of clinical BP less than 140 and 90 mmHg. without a diagnosis of hypertension and antihypertensive therapy, diastolic blood pressure is measured in the sitting position, in orthostasis 1 min after the patient gets up from a sitting position – systolic blood pressure and heart rate. Measure the height and weight of the patient, calculate the body mass index. Based on these characteristics, the LAHC (coefficient of latent AH) value is calculated using the original mathematical formula. Magnitude of the indicator LAHC determine the probability of latent AH, which is associated with an increased risk of cardiovascular accidents. Increased LAHC indicates the need for 24-hour blood pressure monitoring in order to determine the values of ambulatory blood pressure for the diagnosis of latent hypertension in the day and/or night period, during the patient's work and, if necessary, the appointment of antihypertensive therapy and/or non-drug correction of risk factors in order to reduce the risk of cardiovascular accidents.
EFFECT: method makes it possible to detect latent hypertension in patients without a diagnosis of hypertension and antihypertensive therapy with clinical blood pressure less than 140 and 90 mmHg with a high probability, to differentiate the administration of 24-hour blood pressure monitoring in such patients.
