FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to anaesthesiology and resuscitation, and can be used as an anaesthesia care in required surgeries of pelvic fractures and damages of inferior limbs. That is ensured by puncture of the epidural cavity. 0.75% Naropin is preheated to temperature 40-42°C and thereafter introduced in amount 13-20 ml into an epidural catheter with an assisting temperature sensor. The solution is injected into the epidural catheter as soon as its temperature is decreased to 36°C and lower, until the temperature is decreased to 30°C and lower.
EFFECT: method provides reduced time for a complete block in epidural anaesthesia combined with decreasing a dose of Naropin due to decreasing the dissociation constant and increasing a non-ionised drug fraction ensured by certain temperature of anaesthetic introduction.
