FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: engine cylinders accommodates circular pistons with their end faces forming combustion chambers, every said piston houses the shaft coupled with other shafts via spur gears to transfer rotation to engine flywheel. Note here that circular pistons interact with said shafts via a transfer mechanism that converts piston reciprocation into shaft rotation and comprises two axles rigidly fitted on the piston and movable rollers in contact with endless zigzag-like groove made on the shaft cylindrical surface. Aforesaid pistons are locked with the help of lengthwise slots made on piston outer surface and rollers entering aforesaid slots that are fitted on aforesaid axles.
EFFECT: reduced noise at smaller power losses and reduced noise killer drag; higher power output and efficiency, longer life and improved balance.
