FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: hypoxic-hypercapnic gas is supplied to the patient through an anaesthetic inhaler. The amount of oxygen in the inhaled gas is reduced to 9±1%, while the amount of carbon dioxide is increased to 8±1% within 30 minutes. The session is continued until first signs of cardiac decompensation are observed.
EFFECT: method allows improving adaptation of an individual ensured by complex response of primary regulatory systems as a reaction on extreme hypoxia and hypercapnia.
