METHOD FOR TREATMENT OF ERTERNAL HYPERCAPNIC HYPOXIA Russian patent published in 2018 - IPC A61M16/06 A61M16/12 A61H33/14 A61G10/02 A61B5/02

Abstract RU 2655262 C2

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to medicine, namely physiotherapy, and can be used for treating the patients with extreme hypercapnic hypoxia. Two variants of the method of exposure are suggested, in which the patient breathes a gas mixture through an anesthetic mask with the decreasing of the oxygen amount in the inhaled gas mixture to 9 ± 1 % for 30 minutes, and increasing the amount of the carbon dioxide to 8 ± 1 %. Each time when signs of cardiac decompensation appear, increase the oxygen concentration until the signs of cardiac decompensation disappear. At the same time, lower the concentration of carbon dioxide and continue the treatment session at a new concentration of oxygen and carbon dioxide. First variant of the method is further characterized in that the duration of the treatment session is 1.5–2.0 hours. Course of treatment is carried out in the morning and in the evening for 20–40 days. In this case, between sessions, place the patient in a therapeutic and prophylactic environment with a hypoxic-hypercapnic composition of the respiratory mixture. Second variant of the method is characterized by the fact that the course of treatment consists of one session, 72 ± 3 hours.

EFFECT: inventions provides the acceleration of the formation of a complex reaction of the basic regulatory systems of the organism in response to the effected action, the activation of the body's adaptive reserves, increase nonspecific resistance of the body in creating comfortable for the patient treatment conditions aimed at preventing the development of possible complications of the impact.
