SUBSTANCE: invention refers to fabrication of mandrels for production of pipe items, particularly composite reinforced pipes on base of thermo-reactive binding and fibre fillers and can be used for production of pipes by method of continuous winding. The mandrel contains sector strips arranged symmetrically to its axis of rotation. Axis of rotation is tilted to the side of pipe descent at angle α to horizontal plane, also 0<α≤π/2. The method of mandrel implementation includes continuous material winding on the disclosed here mandrel.
EFFECT: facilitating increased resistance of mandrel to bending, reduced material consumption and weight, increased durability characteristics and reliability, expanded consumer functionality, reduced power consumption for pipe fabrication, reduced area for mandrel installation.
