FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relate to production of mandrels for winding tubular articles, particularly composite reinforced tube based on thermosetting binders and fibrous fillers and can be used to fabricate tube in both continuous and intermittent winding. Proposed mandrel comprises sector plates rigidly jointed into blocks and arranged in symmetry about the mandrel rotational axis. Said sector plates are jointed with the help of one or multiple twisted elements. Proposed method comprises winding the material on above described mandrel.
EFFECT: simplified design, higher reliability, reduced weight and costs.
