FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: vehicle cabin module contains sheeted metal frame consisting of vertical and horizontal rigid profiles forming front, rear, side walls, base and roof, herewith, energy absorbing device is installed behind front wall. Under frontal widow opening, horizontal beam is performed which connects front and side walls and locks on rear wall pillars. Between front wall and parallel additional protective shield, energy absorbing device is located which is made as cellular structure consisting of vertical channelled elements installed in line with certain pitch from each other in cabin transversal direction and in several layers - in longitudinal direction. Herewith, the layers are separated by smooth sheets to which the said channel elements are attached by their side edges. Vertical channelled elements in energy absorbing device can be made of different length and oriented by their barrelled part in opposite directions.
EFFECT: providing safety for vehicle personnel via improvement of energy absorbing device operation reliability which device is located in frontal part of module.
