FIELD: oil-and-gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to oil and gas industry and can be used in geophysical analysis of wells with extracting pumps. In compliance with this method, geophysical instruments are arranged below the extracting pump to transmit data via geophysical cable to the surface recording complex. Drive with anchor is secured to geophysical cable to suspend cable section with connected instruments and electrical connecting wires. If required, self-contained instruments can be arranged on said cable section. Distance between instruments is set equal to that between producing formations. Geophysical cable is slacked at the point it is secured in shank. Device is downed into the well. Well is analysed without moving the cable or moving it up and down. Cable is secured at the well mouth to down extracting pump into the well. Pump is switched on to make analysis by instruments with or without moving the cable up and down. If required to withdraw the cable, analysis is interrupted, anchor with equipment is located at preset point, the cable is tensioned by winch, broken and withdrawn onto surface. Extracting pump withdrawn for repair, anchor with instruments is also withdrawn. Data of instruments is read off, analysed and compared to that obtained by cable before its breakage. Statistically significant analysis time interval before cable breakage or before termination of analysis is determined. Proposed device comprises geophysical instruments and geophysical cable to transmit data to the surface recording complex. Electric drive with armature is secured to the end of geophysical cable. Cable section is suspended to said drive to carry instruments and electric connecting wires. Geophysical cable is slacked at the point it is secured in the drive provided cable breakage force exceeding 2 to 3 times the total weight of the drive, anchor, cable section, instruments and fasteners, centering devices and other tools fitted below the drive.
EFFECT: monitoring of well under extracting pump by geophysical cable.
