FIELD: engines and pumps.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to aircraft engine production and can be used in gas turbine engine ACS. In compliance with the proposed invention, additionally generated are control value of parametre in faulty measurement channel, that is, for parametres characterising gas turbine engine operation, designed parametre values are generated from known relationships using readings of serviceable measurement channels. For parametres of airflow at engine inlet, measurements are used that came from aircraft measurement system. Control and measured values are compared for the pickup with difference between control and measured values exceeds preset tolerance, sign "Faulty 1st pickup" is generated. Signal "Fault of parametre measurement" is picked up, engine control is switched over to electronic controller and engine control is continued using 2nd pickup readings.

EFFECT: higher quality of ACS operation, hence, higher engine efficiency and reliability.
