FIELD: engines and pumps.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to aviation engine engineering and can be used in electronic-hydro mechanical systems of automatic control (ACS) of gas turbine engines (GTE). Additionally after switching engine control to HMR (hydro mechanical regulator) in every ER (electronic regulator) channel according to reserve control program similar to the program realised in HMR there formed is a calculated position of metering device and actuator, also actual position of metering device and actuator is measured, calculated and measured position are compared. In the ER channel where the discrepancy is larger there formed is a "ER channel failure", "ER failure" signal is deleted and engine control is switched to working ER channel.

EFFECT: increase of engine operation security and aircraft safety by means of identification of failure in two-channel ER within the accuracy of a channel.
