FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to compressors. Impeller comprises vanes 8, main and cover disks 1, 9. Outer walls of aforesaid disks have circular flanges 2, 3 equally spaced from impeller edges to make circular recesses 4, 5 open towards impeller edges to receive shroud rings 6, 7 made from composite material. Said material features modulus of elasticity higher than that of impeller material. With compressor and impeller running, impeller every part is subjected to inertial force originating over volume. Note here that impeller vanes 8 bend towards lower rigidity to turn cover disk 9 through a certain angle relative to main disk 1 in direction of rotation. Here, originate strains in bodies of disks 1, 9 that cause inner static and bending strains in impeller elements material. Said strains are transferred from impeller elements to shroud rings 6, 7 relieving bodies of aforesaid disks from said inner static and bending strains, thus, allowing reduction in disk thickness and impeller weight.
EFFECT: higher operating performances and longer life.
