FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: pulsation damper is designed for decreasing amplitude and frequency of liquid pressure pulsations after it in dead ends of hydraulic lines under not running modes of fluid flow. Pulsation damper consists of a case with supplying and withdrawing connecting branches; partitions with channels of small diametre are installed inside of the connecting branches successively along axis and perpendicular to medium flow. The withdrawing branch is directed upward; partitions of two types are arranged in the case alternately so, that in the first type they have a recess with a step on the edge of the recess and the recess with the step in the centre in the second type; the recesses are directed opposite to fluid entrance; also recesses of both types of partitions are filled partially with fluid and partially with gas and function as damping cavities. Channels of small diametre made in steps and ledges of partitions have circular cross section due to securing sections of wire in them with small gaps.
