FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electric engineering and may be used to detect faulty condition of inductive windings in electric machines that operate in closed bodies with limited number of winding terminals. The invention concept is as follows: tested inductive winding of three-phase electric motor is connected with the help of three auxiliary electric circuits to terminals of the secondary winding of three-phase transformer with controlled voltage of secondary windings connected according to delta pattern. Auxiliary electric circuit comprises serial connection of amperemetre and capacitor having reactive resistance that is equal to doubled reactive resistance of one of the windings. Each of three capacitors, together or separately, may be shunted with the help of key. If there are no changes in amperemetre readings after key closure and opening, inductive winding is considered to be in proper condition.
EFFECT: expansion of capabilities in diagnostics of inductive windings with relatively high full resistance at rated and higher currents.
