FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine and pharmacology and can be used for studying the influence of therapeutic preparations on apoptosis. The method is implemented as follows: Newborn infant rats aged 2-8 days are divided on two groups (reference and experience). To experimental infant rats, a studied preparation is introduced subcutaneously in a therapeutic dose, and the reference animals get an equivalent amount of physiologic saline. 6-120 hours later, the animals of both groups are decapitated to separate posterior and (or) cortical cerebrum; thereafter cerebral tissue is analysed by any available methods to evaluate the apoptosis intensity. The varying intensity of natural apoptosis in cerebral structures of the experimental infant rats in 2 times and more times in comparison with the reference animals ensures to observe pro- or antiapoptogenous activity of a studied preparation.
EFFECT: method allows improving accuracy and reliability of screening the preparations with estimated pro- or antiapoptogenous activity.
