FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: generator may be used in devices for conversion of explosive substance (ES) energy into electromagnetic energy. Generator comprises helical coil with internal core comprising ES charge with system of its initiation and arranged of two parts connected by current-conducting coupling. Generator is equipped with additional facility to excite detonation of ES charge in part of internal conductor on the side of load, arranged in the form of explosive lens shaper of flat impact wave installed inside coupling, and facilities for its initiation surrounded by inertial material with lower density and speed of sound compared to coupling material; mentioned facility for initiation may be arranged in the form of detonation channel equipped with ES, one end of which comes out to ES charge in internal core, and the other one is connected to lens shaper. Radial dimensions of internal core on the side of load and end section of coil surrounding this part of conductor are increased compared to their radial dimensions at the rest part of generator.

EFFECT: invention provides for reduction of generator dimensions and increase of efficiency.
