SUBSTANCE: proposed invention relates to wireless communication. The description and drawings disclose a novel method, system, device software for dynamic strobing a control up-link, e.g. a dedicated physical control channel (DPCCH) in order to increase transmission capacity during communication, e.g. wireless communication. The said strobing is done using a predefined criterion through instructions given to a network, and based on transmission break in an intermittent data signal, e.g. transmitted over an enhanced dedicated channel (E-DCH).

EFFECT: saving battery energy, noise reduction and high transmission capacity.
