FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a device for obtaining gas plasma through gas ionisation. The proposed device has a source of microwaves at defined nominal power, as well as a magnetron which receives electrical energy from a power circuit. The invention is distinguished by that, power supplied to the magnetron from the power circuit is not more than a quarter of the nominal power of the magnetron.
EFFECT: increased reliability and efficiency of the device for sterilising gas plasma.
