SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, pulmonology, general therapy, namely to methods of methods of evaluating degree of severity of trophological insufficiency in patients with chronic obstructive lung disease. Method lies in determination of index of real body weight and analysis of fat absorption by Kamer method, total index of day fecal fat excretion R is determined and coefficient of fat balance of body weight is calculated by formula: CFBbw=W/R, where W is body weight, in kg, R is index of day fecal fat excretion, in grams, and if coefficient value equals, from 25 to 27 absence of trophological insufficiency is diagnosed if coefficient value is from 17 to 18 moderate degree of trophological insufficiency is diagnosed, if coefficient value equals from 13 and lower expressed degree of trophological insufficiency is diagnosed.

EFFECT: method ensures high accuracy and clinical self-descriptiveness of evaluation.
