FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to field of medicine, namely to pulmonology and general therapy. In order to evaluate degree of trophologic insufficiency severity in patients with chronic obstructive lung disease, index of body weight (IBW in kg/m2) is determined. If value of body weight index is lower than 20 kg/m2 additionally fat content in body weight composition in per cent is determined by method of bioelectric impedance measurement in standard positions between palm surfaces. If fat content in body weight composition in per cent is from 25.42±1.64% to 14.62±2.26% absence of trophologic insufficiency is diagnosed. If fat content in body weight composition in per cent equals from 10.06±0.72% to 8.24% light degree of trophologic insufficiency is diagnosed. If fat content in body weight composition in per cent is from 8.10±0.15% - to 6.08±0.35% medium degree of trophologic insufficiency is diagnosed. If fat content in body weight composition in per cent is from 5.72% to 4.72±0.25% severe degree of trophologic insufficiency is diagnosed.

EFFECT: method increases accuracy and self-descriptiveness of evaluation of trophologic insufficiency severity degree in patients with chronic obstructive lung disease.
