FIELD: medicine, veterinary.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to veterinary medicine. Method lies in the following: uterus fixation in case of its prolapse in cows is carried out after its reposition, by application of 3-4 knotted sutures. As suture material, wide double medical sterile bandage in 30 cm segments is used. As instrument for sewing, sharpened blood-stopping Kocher's forceps is used. By means of it vulva wall is punctured from inside, bandage is caught and pulled into vulva. After that forceps is stuck symmetrically outside other half of vulva, bandage is caught and pulled out, bringing vulva edges together, ordinary double knot is tied.
EFFECT: application of claimed method increases safety of population of highly productive animals, preserves reproductive properties of cows, does not require repeated operations, reduces treatment terms.
