FIELD: medicine, veterinary science.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to the sphere of veterinary science, in particular, to veterinary obstetrics. Universal lock is arranged in the form of adjustable trident with sharp arched needles pulled through holes available in two grip-like planks, and fixed blunt ends by means of nuts in holes of fixed plank. The other plank is arranged as detachable and freely moved along needles, and ends of two guides are fixed on it with the help of nuts, in the form of rods pulled through holes of lugs. Lugs are fixed pairwise coaxially to nuts on two planks at the distance from each other and serve to move and fix guides. The second ends of guides are fixed in lugs on fixed plank by means of nuts in position of lock fixation on vulvar lips of an animal. Sharp ends of needles in position of lock fixation are equipped with protective plastic caps. Method of fixation consists in the fact that fixation is carried out by universal lock. In process of lock fixation with needles, vulvar lips are pierced, taking needles outside at the distance of 2-3 cm from the area where mucous membrane changes into skin. Then detachable plank is put onto needles taken out, and guides are pulled on top of vulvar lips as fixed on stationary and mobile planks to control distance between them. After fixation of lock, protective caps are placed onto sharp ends of needles.

EFFECT: application of invention will make it possible to simplify process of fixation of reset vagina in animal females.
