SUBSTANCE: invention relates to automotive industry. Tire (1) with toroidal inner surface (2) comprises electronic device (10) incorporating electronic unit and antenna. The latter is connected with said electronic unit and has inner perimetric edge and retainer case (40) arranged on aforesaid inner surface (2) to be engaged between said electronic device (10) and said tire (1). Said retainer case (40) comprises at least two parts. Said electronic unit is arranged between said two parts. Each of said parts incorporates: retainer surface secured to inner surface (2) of tire (1) and groove where inner perimetric edge of said antenna adjoins to limit displacement between electronic unit and retainer case (40). Invention covers also method of fitting electronic unit into tire.
